What a difference! Leaving Barcelona felt like shedding stress. Once we arrived in Seville, I felt so much more relaxed - there are Spanish flags everywhere, no pickpockets, fewer tourists, and just a sense of family and community.
By the time we arrived, it was almost time for dinner. We headed to Alameda de Hercules and found a spot to grab pre-dinner drinks, then made our way to Duo Tapas for dinner. It was amazing - even on a Monday night, it was packed. We got there shortly after it opened so we got a table, but after we sat down, it was a steady trickle until every table was full. The food, especially the pork cheeks (carrillada de cerdo), was the best we've had so far on the trip. We tried their Tinto sangria and were surprised when one cup turned out to be half a liter!
After we'd stuffed ourselves, we stumbled back to our apartment near to Plaza de la Encarnación. Tomorrow will be an early start as we head to Granada to visit Alhambra.
