Happy Valentine's Day

I hope today brought joy to everyone in at least a small way! I was lucky enough to have a school-free day just because my schedule worked out nicely. Also, I was treated to a dinner at Boston Pizza - complete with a heart-shaped pizza and a flower to finish off the meal. Yay for mass commercialization to spread love and happiness! It's so crazy how we all have different definitions and approaches to love - I know I was quite confused about the whole concept for a long time. All throughout our childhoods, we're showered with unconditional love from our parents, instilling a sense of happiness and belonging in the core of our being. Then, as we grow up, we interact with people outside our family and create friendships and relationships. This whole process muddled my mind with conflicting thoughts. Class Drama

For the first time in a long time, I'm not going to hold back in what I have to say. This is your warning, to read or not to read this post. Usually, I'm fairly diplomatic - I try not to talk behind people's backs; I understand that people who read this are voluntarily doing so. However, I feel as if I'm the only person that does this, and don't I have the right to freedom of speech too? That being said, I will now exercise that right. Last weekend, I had an awesome time in Niagara Falls, just forgetting about school and midterms. I was eagerly anticipating this week because it promised to be full of exciting news - our class was voting our valedictorian, I was getting a new-hire package from PMC , and the Iron Ring Ceremony was due to take place on Friday. My hopes for a great week were shattered on Monday. As I mentioned, we were supposed to nominate a class valedictorian.
