One last look at Shanghai led us to the old part of town - Yu Yuan Old Street. As with any other city, this part of the city was filled with shops and people.

Unlike other cities, the majority of shoppers were locals and there was a garden adjoining the street! Yes, it seems there are gardens all over China - capturing the culture of previous dynasties. This particular garden was no exception, with classical buildings maintained over the years and tourists clamouring for pictures.

We had lunch in a nearby restaurant - Lu Bo Lang - before we headed out to the airport. The huge number of dishes left us all bloated, but satisfied. This tour definitely left us with a little more weight to carry home!

Heading to the airport, we said goodbye to our Shanghai tour guide in one of the newer terminals and hopped on our flight to Macau, and then another flight to Taipei. Whew!
