Another year has passed, and a new one - one that promises to be full of change - is beginning.
Reflecting back on 2006, I have to say it was a smashing year. Lots of learning, in the classrooms and about myself and relationships, and tons of fights that led to happy endings. Ranking high on the list was being able to spend 4 months in Vancouver - making new friends in a familiar work environment, strengthening old friendships, and enjoying time with my family.
For the first time, I enjoyed most of my lectures - being able to choose my courses was a welcome freedom. Opting to do what I liked also led to more involvement in extracurricular activities, as well as the recognition that a bit of relaxation often helps in stressful situations.
Fights were as common as any other year, but I believe maturity allowed every spat to be resolved peacefully. I'm aiming to improve my temper in the new year - we'll see how it goes!
Looking forward to this clean slate, I hope it brings joy to everyone! Cheers!
